An excellent novel in the style of Joseph Heller (Catch 22), using absurdity and the vision of an "Outsider" in Ugli to critique culture and thinking. Genuinely funny throughout, parts towards the end can be a bit "dense", both in purpose and prose, but really enjoyable nonetheless/5.
